Are Art Stencils Co airbrush stencils reusable?
Yes. Stencils are made of mylar which can be cleaned and reused infinitely and will last a long time with proper care.
Can you clean the stencils with acetone?
Yes. Stencils are made from solvent-proof mylar, which can be cleaned with acetone or nail polish remover.
What type of base and top coats are best with airbrush paints?
Water-based clear nail polish and UV gel base and top coats work well with airbrush paints. For gels use a gel base coat and clean off the sticky layer before airbrushing.

Our favorite airbrush paints are Createx brand opaque airbrush paints. The colors are true to shade, do not clog, and clean easily.
Our favorite airbrush is the Vega series from Thayer & Chandler Airbrushes. The larger fluid nozzle prevents clogs and the airbrush is easy to clean.
We use a 1/5 hp airbrush compressor. It is powerful enough so that paint thinning is not necessary. Use most airbrush paints straight out the bottle. Which means bolder and brighter colors.
